Leah V is a New York City–based performance poet, producer, curator, officiant, and performance coach whose work blends spoken word, theater, music, movement, and storytelling into immersive live experiences. A Bronx-raised artist with a Bachelor’s degree in English & Professional Writing and a concentration in multicultural literature and poetry, Leah is the founder and host of Mictastic NYC, a longstanding creative platform dedicated to cultivating community, performance, and artistic growth throughout New York City.

Known for her emotionally layered writing, commanding stage presence, and innovative productions, Leah has curated and featured in numerous sold-out shows at the acclaimed Off-Broadway Triad Theater and recently completed the encore run of her original one-woman multimedia production, The Long Way Home, a theatrical spoken word journey exploring lineage, grief, resilience, identity, and New York City itself.

Her work has been presented at the legendary Apollo Theater through Poetry Me, Please, as well as institutions including University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, DePauw University, Lehman College, and Baruch College. Professionally, Leah also serves as Poetry Administrator for The RISE Journey, an HR consulting firm specializing in DEI-centered programming, where she curates poetry showcases, storytelling workshops, and cultural experiences for corporate and educational audiences nationwide.
